The Comprehensive and Cataract Surgery Service at the U-M Kellogg Eye Center provides medical and surgical care for all types of conditions of the eye and surrounding structures, both routine and urgent. This service provides primary eye care, including evaluation and treatment of cataracts, and screening and management for patients with diabetes or glaucoma. Many other conditions that affect vision and ocular health are treated by comprehensive ophthalmology.
When necessary, physicians in the Comprehensive Ophthalmology Service will refer patients to and coordinate care with other ophthalmology subspecialists.
